APEX provides specialized Emergency Medical Training for campus security personnel, equipping them with the critical skills needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies and traumatic incidents in an academic environment. This training is based on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) principles and includes bleeding control, tourniquet application, CPR, AED usage, airway management, and trauma response under high-stress conditions. Emphasis is placed on rapid assessment, immediate care, and seamless coordination with local emergency medical services (EMS). Through hands-on, scenario-based instruction, APEX prepares security personnel to act as capable first responders, enhancing both individual confidence and the institution’s overall emergency readiness.
