APEX offers age-appropriate Active Assailant and Workplace Violence Response Training tailored to student bodies across all educational levels—elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and universities. For elementary students, training emphasizes simple, non-threatening safety concepts such as listening to trusted adults, recognizing safe zones, and practicing calm responses during drills. Middle school programs introduce more structured safety actions like lockdown procedures, situational awareness, and basic decision-making during emergencies. High school students receive more in-depth training, including realistic scenario discussions, personal safety strategies, and communication roles during incidents. For university students, the program focuses on independent decision-making, threat recognition, coordinated response options (e.g., Run, Hide, Fight), and post-incident awareness. All training is delivered in a manner that is developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and designed to empower students without instilling fear—ultimately supporting a safer, more prepared campus community.
